LUNA Study - Device Training
During this visit, the Spark Device Specialist will:
- Instruct you on how to use the LUNA Study Device and record your programming settings
- Guide you through applying the earpiece and taking a picture of your ear with it properly in place (this photo will be filed with your study data and sent to you for future reference)
- Walk you through downloading the Sparrow Link Participant Application, setting up your account, and pairing your Patient Controller
The app will occasionally connect with your LUNA Study Device via Bluetooth to retrieve basic device usage information, including:
- Stimulation duration
- Intensity levels
- Error messages
The participant app does not collect biometric or vital sign data and does not gather or share any protected health information (PHI).
